Have none of you watched Jeter in the post season? Take your stats and numbers. I'll take what he did when it mattered. Anyone remember the "flip". Ripken was like Peyton Manning. Jeter was like Montana. You compare WAR, I'll compare rings. And if you wanna say it's a team game. No shit, but it takes certain players doing extra special things in clutch moments. And that was Jeter, not Ripken. Anyone that says different, either lives in Baltimore, or is plain slow. 
Shame that this kind of stuff has to come up as he is finishing his career. But Derrick Jeter was the most over rated player of all the truly great players I have seen. Olberman if nothing else is a baseball historian so he knows what he is talking about. The hero worship of Jeter in New york is and was ridiculous .
