World Series Is Winner, MLB World Series Slideshow
Game 5 of the World Series led Fox to a first-place finish on Monday night but ABC was a close second. Although Nielsen’s final ratings for the live baseball broadcast were not immediately available, preliminary estimates show it drew similar numbers as Saturday’s game, which earned 15.4 million viewers when final ratings were released. On ABC, a two-hour episode of “Dancing With the Stars” garnered an average of 16.2 million viewers, followed by “Castle” 9.7 million. CBS was third, drawing its largest audiences with the comedies “Two and a Half Men” 13.6 million and “The Big Bang Theory” 12.7 million. NBC was fourth.
